JUSA Cup

Sunday is the start of JUSA Cup.

For U16/U19 teams, the entire Cup is played in one day, sometimes one game.

Check your schedules as there have been some forfeits.  I emailed you all directly, but just verify fields/times of actual games and note the last game of the day so you can have equipment put away.

See the rules below.  Each game is CLEARLY marked with what type of game it is, so play the correct duration and follow the correct procedures for determining a winner.

All the younger games tomorrow (U9-U14) are either 20 or 25 minute halves – see below

JUSA Cup Rules

Minimum Play Time for JUSA Cup games

The most important thing to remember is that, just like in regular season, minimum play time rules are still in effect throughout JUSA Cup play.

ALL PLAYERS U-9 and U-10 MUST PLAY 3/4 OF THE GAME.
ALL PLAYERS U-12 to U-19 MUST PLAY 1/2 OF THE GAME.

If a game goes to extra time, every player must play in at least one of the two extra time periods, provided that both are played.

NOTE: Some U9/U10 teams have 10 players on the roster making it impossible to play everyone 3 quarters.  Every player, in this situation, must play at least 2 of the first 4 quarters, and at least one of the overtime periods, if both are played.
