Fall 2022 Week 7

Thanks for being a JUSA Ref. Here are a few notes/reminders for the weekend.

2) Lock combo should be 1949.
3) Most coaches will have player cards but not all. If they don’t have cards, ask them to pick them up at the office before next weekend.
4) No Dogs! No Dogs! No Dogs! on any school property.
5) U8 modifications:
Be lenient about the rules and help teach the game and always keep safety in mind.

Fall 2022 Week 4

Hope you are having fun this fall being a referee. JUSA and the Kids are very appreciative that you are out there on the field.

1) Player cards: There are still a few teams without cards. If they have cards, go ahead and check the cards with the players please. Cards are not required.
2) Pre Game with coaches: make sure you talk with the coaches about sideline behavior and respect.
3) Be on time: Coaches get nervous and start calling me if they don’t see a referee. Be there 30 min before the game.

4) Start your game on time: games can back up quickly over the day and everyone gets in a foul mood.

5) Talk with your Whistle!  Be vocal. Tell the players and coaches about the foul.

6) No Dogs! No Dogs! No Dogs!   Coaches know that there should be no dogs on school fields.
